Job Overview
Element Materials Technology is currently seeking an Associate Test Technician to join their growing team based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore. This role involves executing a range of standard and occasional testing tasks within the assigned department, ensuring accurate and prompt test results under close supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and upkeep of geotechnical instruments such as inclinometers, piezometers, and settlement markers.
- Gather and document monitoring data from field sites.
- Regularly inspect instruments to verify proper functionality.
- Help in the preparation of reports and data summaries.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and site-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project members to facilitate monitoring activities.
- Maintain organization and readiness of instruments and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in testing or related areas.
- Fundamental understanding of testing procedures and proficiency with computers.
- Prior experience working in the construction sector.
- Strong commitment to quality and resilience in meeting deadlines under challenging conditions with minimal supervision.
- Self-driven team player possessing excellent organizational and communication abilities.
