- Help ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and provide practical risk-reduction guidance to leadership.
- Take part in special initiatives and carry out other duties as needed to support organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline, along with at least five years of HR experience, especially in employee relations and investigations. A solid grasp of employment law and HR best practices is important, and experience in healthcare will be considered an advantage. Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are beneficial. The role also requires strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with Workday or another HRIS platform is preferred. The ability to work independently, manage several priorities at once, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism is essential. Some travel within the division territory may occasionally be necessary.

CPL offers a well-rounded benefits package that supports employee health, financial security, and career growth. This includes competitive medical coverage, dental and vision plans, retirement savings options, paid time off, and wellness programs.
