About the company
LORENZ Life Sciences Group develops software that supports digital data exchange between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies. Its platforms help simplify medication and therapy approval workflows, enabling faster access to important treatments worldwide. The organization operates with an agile, flexible structure that supports quick decisions and a strong culture of innovation.
About the role
The company is looking for a skilled and driven Senior UX/UI Designer to join its team in Germany. This role focuses on creating clear, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces for software products used in complex pharmaceutical regulatory processes. You will turn complicated domain workflows into practical digital experiences and work closely with product managers, developers, and researchers to deliver design solutions that balance user needs and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
Your work will directly shape how users interact with the platform, with a strong emphasis on usability, accessibility, and well-structured design.
- Assess user needs and complex process flows to develop independent, user-centered UX concepts for software products.
- Quickly understand new and technically complex subject areas and convert them into usable information structures, user journeys, and interaction models.
- Organize and carry out user research, requirement reviews, and usability testing, then translate findings into improvements and new ideas.
- Build and test concepts through wireframes, user flows, and prototypes while maintaining high standards for usability, consistency, and accessibility.
- Use established UX best practices, usability principles, and accessibility guidelines throughout the design process.
- Support and grow the design system to ensure consistent UX and UI standards across multiple products.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has several years of experience designing UX/UI for B2B, enterprise, or similarly complex software products. Strong hands-on ability in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing is important. You should understand design systems, component-based UI thinking, and consistent interaction patterns, with a clear focus on usability, accessibility, and user-centered design. Strong communication skills in German and English are required, along with the ability to quickly get comfortable with complex technical domains. A strong portfolio or relevant work samples is expected.
Benefits
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working arrangements, plus at least 30 days of vacation with extra days based on tenure.
- Competitive compensation with a bonus structure and employee discounts, offered by a stable, family-owned business with an international workforce.
- Training and development opportunities to support ongoing personal and professional growth.
- A modern Frankfurt office with up-to-date technology, free parking with EV charging stations, and an option to lease a company bike.
- A collaborative workplace culture with team events, a relaxed informal culture, in-house yoga, and social activities such as shared lunches in a modern work café.
Equal opportunity
The employer promotes an inclusive workplace and encourages applications from qualified people of all genders, ages, ethnicities, disability statuses, and backgrounds. The company values diverse teams and aims to create equal opportunities for everyone to succeed and develop.
