Role overview
This position is focused on expanding passive investing products such as ETFs and index funds across all sales channels at a regional level. The objective is to strengthen adoption by supporting the sales force, not by replacing it, while improving assets under management and market share.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with Regional Heads, Center Heads, and Relationship Managers to promote passive products across the assigned regions and train RMs to improve passive market share.
- Monitor passive business performance through MIS reports, dashboards, and detailed zone-level tracking.
- Implement head office strategies and product-specific plans at the zonal level to help grow AUM and market share.
- Build strategic partnerships by engaging existing distributors, identifying new distribution models, and onboarding them for passive funds.
- Organize events and training workshops to support market development and channel engagement.
- Run product-focused campaigns across different sales verticals.
- Coordinate with sales teams to communicate with distributors and position passive products effectively.
- Identify new MFDs and RIAs and provide complete support in establishing their business setup.
- Lead conversations with prospective channel partners, define partnership deliverables, and drive acquisition to widen distribution reach for passive products.
- Explore new distribution avenues such as digital platforms to introduce the passive product portfolio.
- Work with operations and technology teams to help sales teams execute ETF transactions smoothly.
- Create distributor-specific transaction workflows where required.
- Resolve transaction, brokerage, and process-related issues by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Partner with operations, compliance, and technology teams to improve and update existing processes.
- Evaluate market conditions and decide the right product mix for each sales segment.
- Take ownership of daily incremental AAUM growth for the business.
- Drive NFO-led campaigns to build the base AAUM.
- Conduct scheme-wise campaigns to generate additional AAUM.
Additional information
The role also involves maintaining micro-level MIS for the region, coordinating passive fund adoption at the zone level, and ensuring execution of business development, operational support, and asset growth initiatives across the assigned geography.
