Job Overview

This opportunity invites candidates with accounting experience to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent. Responsibilities

  • Design and execute investigations into possible federal legal violations including cybersecurity and public safety concerns.

  • Establish and sustain cooperative relationships with law enforcement entities across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain necessary physical fitness to uphold law enforcement operational readiness.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to secure a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Willingness to fulfill travel obligations as necessary.
  • Fulfillment of FBI’s employment eligibility criteria.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting, from an accredited U.S. institution.
  • Official college transcripts must be submitted to verify educational qualifications.

Compensation

The pay scale for this position ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, with salary adjusted based on base pay, locality, and availability pay factors.
