Job description
About the opportunity
Tribe is a privately owned recruitment firm in New Zealand that is known for moving quickly, making deliberate decisions, and producing meaningful commercial results. The business is respected for its strong service standards, customised hiring solutions, and solid standing in the market.
Supported by modern technology, automation, and a dedicated operations team, the company gives its people the space to focus on high-value work. It operates with clear values and an ambitious growth plan, and it promotes a workplace where ownership, wellbeing, and individuality are genuinely appreciated.
The Tribe Way is built on four principles: Be Yourself. Be Brave. Be There for Others. Be First. This role is a chance to work within that culture.
This is a permanent, full-time Talent Partner position based in the Wellington office. The role supports recruitment delivery across a broad range of sectors.
Working as part of a shared delivery function, you will collaborate closely with Recruitment Consultants to help deliver results across several teams. You will contribute to a smooth candidate and client journey through coordination, administration, candidate assessment, and proactive talent pool management.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong system discipline and compliance, keeping Bullhorn (ATS) records accurate, documenting client and candidate interactions, arranging and carrying out interviews, and assisting with placements, contractor extensions, and change requests. In addition, you will help maintain and grow candidate talent pools through searching, outreach, and engagement.
As a representative of the Tribe brand, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity in every interaction.
What the role involves
- Partner with recruitment consultants to support delivery across multiple teams and sectors.
- Handle coordination, administration, interview scheduling, candidate assessment, and related recruitment support tasks.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in Bullhorn and capture key client and candidate interactions.
- Support placements, contractor extensions, and changes to existing assignments.
- Build and manage talent pools through search, outreach, and ongoing candidate engagement.
- Represent the business professionally as a brand ambassador in all communications.
- Work in a high-volume environment where pace, organisation, sound judgement, and the ability to juggle priorities are essential.
What you will bring
You should have demonstrated experience in customer service, administration, or coordination, preferably in recruitment, and a genuine interest in people and relationship-building. You will be comfortable working in a fast-moving commercial setting and supporting several stakeholders and tasks at the same time.
You will be highly organised, careful with detail, and proactive, while still maintaining speed and quality in your work.

- Experience using ATS and CRM platforms effectively
- Confident verbal and written communication
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Proactive, practical problem-solving approach
- Ability to stay resilient and adapt to changing priorities
- Team-oriented, delivery-first working style
What’s on offer
- A positive, values-led and inclusive workplace where flexibility and wellbeing are supported
- Additional MY DAY leave
- Birthday leave
- Access to strong tools and technology
