About the Role
You will be part of a vibrant team focused on generating recurring revenue and helping customers capitalize fully on their investment in Cisco technologies. This position fosters close collaboration across sales, customer success, and channel partners to streamline renewal processes and build lasting partnerships. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire renewal lifecycle for accounts of medium complexity, balancing commercial objectives with customer business needs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Renewals Specialists, and internal teams to synchronize account strategies, validate customer data, and maintain a consistent renewal approach.
- Manage preparation of quotes, resolve obstacles, mitigate risks, and ensure readiness for contract ordering for moderately complex deals.
- Apply structured frameworks including MEDDPIC, alongside customer and market information, to navigate renewal discussions and emphasize Cisco's value.
- Utilize AI-driven tools, automation, and data analytics to enhance renewal processes, improve forecasting, detect churn risks, and pinpoint opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent blend of education and significant professional experience totaling at least five years.
- At least five years of background in Customer Experience, Software or Services Renewals, or Services Sales.
- Proven leadership or coordination experience in cross-functional commercial processes involving multiple stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Success, partners, and operations teams.
- Demonstrated responsibility for managing renewals or sales end-to-end, including planning, upsell discovery, customer engagements, and contract closures.
- Experience leveraging data analysis, reporting platforms, automation, or AI-enabled tools for workflow optimization, forecasting, or business insights.
- Preferred: mentoring experience and contribution to team best practices.
- Strong consultancy skills with a proven ability to influence key decision-makers in complex negotiations.
- Track record of identifying and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities informed by market trends and customer insights.
- Experience conducting proactive risk evaluations and deploying strategies to mitigate competitive or adoption threats.
- Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for interpreting data to detect renewal risks and advantages.
- Competency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Preferred certifications such as ITIL, PMP, COBIT, or Six Sigma.
Additional Details
- Working hours: 48 hours weekly.
