Operations Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Lead to oversee all operational functions at our Sephora store located at 115 Maple Avenue, Unit F001, Milton, ON. This full-time, regular position involves managing the entire Operations team, supporting staffing efforts for various operational groups including the overnight stock team, and ensuring smooth overall store execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by leading and ensuring all store processes meet company standards.
• Oversee inventory management activities such as shipping, receiving, merchandise returns, and cycle counts, ensuring adherence to company policies and timelines.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and on-stage presentation; supervise and provide guidance to cleaning crews to meet agreed cleanliness standards.
• Manage supply needs by maintaining budgets and appropriate quantities for testers, samples, and other store supplies.
• Participate in performance management of the operations team, providing timely feedback and following up on improvement plans.
• Serve regularly as Manager on Duty, actively engaging with Beauty Advisors and customers on the sales floor.
• Develop and implement budget strategies with expertise in sales performance, staffing, payroll, and other controllable expenses.

Candidate Profile

• One to three years of experience in a comparable position within a similar volume retail environment or equivalent internal experience.
• Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong capabilities in store operations management.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills demonstrated in previous roles.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges between 22 and 26 Canadian dollars, complemented by potential performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
