About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Lead to oversee all operational functions at our Sephora store located at 115 Maple Avenue, Unit F001, Milton, ON. This full-time, regular position involves managing the entire Operations team, supporting staffing efforts for various operational groups including the overnight stock team, and ensuring smooth overall store execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence by leading and ensuring all store processes meet company standards.
- Oversee inventory management activities such as shipping, receiving, merchandise returns, and cycle counts, ensuring adherence to company policies and timelines.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and on-stage presentation; supervise and provide guidance to cleaning crews to meet agreed cleanliness standards.
- Manage supply needs by maintaining budgets and appropriate quantities for testers, samples, and other store supplies.
- Participate in performance management of the operations team, providing timely feedback and following up on improvement plans.
- Serve regularly as Manager on Duty, actively engaging with Beauty Advisors and customers on the sales floor.
- Develop and implement budget strategies with expertise in sales performance, staffing, payroll, and other controllable expenses.
Candidate Profile
- One to three years of experience in a comparable position within a similar volume retail environment or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong capabilities in store operations management.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills demonstrated in previous roles.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly wage for this position ranges between 22 and 26 Canadian dollars, complemented by potential performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
